A house concert is basically a concert given in your home or other space you provide, in which you invite a group of people to meet us and listen to our music.

House concerts are usually cozy, informal and intimate. You just need a space that can comfortably accommodate 15 – 20 people and some energy to make it happen. Usually, a symbolic monetary contribution is asked from each guest, in order to present the artist with some income. All the rest is totally optional.

So, if you have a nice place and a group of guests you’d like to share our music with, then perhaps hosting a house concert would be for you!

Requirements (just a few, but keep them in mind):

- A quiet place, where 15-20 people can sit comfortably (of course you can just hire us for your house concert, and in that case the number of attendants is mostly up to you);

- A circle of music loving friends/family, a special event or any other venue where our music would be appreciated;


Promotion and production

Enthusiastic word of mouth is always the best way to promote anything. Just use your network of music loving friends and family members – and maybe let them bring their own friends! Use Facebook, Twitter, postcards or TV adds - it all helps! 

Remember: curiosity and fun are the things that keep people interested. Be creative and turn your house concert into a memorable event!

Make sure every guest is aware that you’re inviting them for a live venue, not a party with background music. Create a small mailing list and keep it updated. Invite your guests, ask them to confirm it in advance, etc.

We will supply you all the information necessary regarding our performance (links, streamed music, photos, etc.), so you just have to share it with your guests. Depending on the size of the venue, no sound system is required.


Money stuff

As said before, you can simply hire us for your house concert. But due to the nature of this kind of event, organizing payment for artists on a donation basis is much more pleasant for everyone. Usually hosts will collect a suggested donation from the guests before the concert or during a break. The suggested amount can be something like €5 to €10 per guest. People will also be able to buy our CDs or other available products.

The host usually provides accommodation and covers for travel expenses (if any).

It is really important that you make all your guests aware that there will be an expectation for money at some point during the event - if that is the case. Try to formalize this as gently as possible, finding the least intrusive way to ask for people’s contribution. More generous contributions from life-lasting fans are, of course, welcomed! Anyway, no one should be left out of your event due to lack of funds. The most important thing is that we share a wonderful moment.

 Just make everything clear with your guests; be communicative and let us know in advance if you think something will not happen as planned. We’ll for sure be able to solve it in the best way.


Food/ drinks

You can organize that special exotic dinner you’ve always dreamed of or ask your guests to bring along their favorite drink, dessert, etc. Take-away will also do the trick Even though catering is not a requirement for a house concert event, it will for sure boost your event’s social and entertaining potential.


Optional suggestions:

- Use media and technology: live stream the concert to all your distant friends, use a beamer to create a unique atmosphere and scenario with your special photos;

- Turn the concert into an interactive experience: think of interesting things for people to pay special attention to the music. Ask in advance for people to vote for a special tune, of which we can make a unique arrangement and interpretation...

- Arrange with your friends a cycle of house concerts - for instance, one for each birthday. This way you can get to listen to many concerts (with us or other artists), broaden your social network and have a lot of fun!

Our house concerts have proved to be really unique experiences, where we have had the pleasure to share our music with the most enriching audiences. Besides, house concerts allow a special closeness and intimacy that regular venues don’t. There will be time for people to share their thoughts and impressions with us, make their critics, remarks, etc, without having the stage and fancy set-ups in between.

We do not expect you to organize a professional venue. We will help you through all the stages of the event, sharing the challenges and the joy!
